Monday.com has created a tool that changes the way teams collaborate. It is a unicorn company, valued in billions of dollars. It’s currently in a hyper-growth phase, has over 1,000 employees, 7 offices worldwide and is headquartered in Tel Aviv.

When they came to us, they were just opening their second global R&D centre in Warsaw and were looking for a local IT recruitment partner to set the scaling at a high pace.

Challenges:

The client had a very good offer, but also high expectations for candidates, as they generally hire people from the top 1% of candidates in the market. This is a group that is difficult to reach as they are inundated with job offers.

In addition, aspirational candidates who have little chance of passing a technical vetting usually apply for these types of offers.

We also knew that monday.com was unhappy working with other IT recruitment agencies who were flooding them with mismatched candidates.

Our solution:

  • Due to the client’s very high expectations of candidates, we decided to prepare a list of companies in Warsaw whose employees could have the necessary experience and skills. We targeted product companies, operating in web technologies, with modern solutions and a large scale of users.
  • We ran a performance marketing campaign on LinkedIn to build points of contact, which we backed up with direct contact with candidates from the targeted companies during subsequent recruitment sprints. We worked very well with monday.com‘s in-house recruitment team, helping them understand the specifics of the local IT job market and candidate expectations, while learining their unique hiring processes and culture.

Effect:

  • We ended 7 sprints with 6 job offers and 5 high quality hires on the client side.
  • We delivered an offer reception feedback including key areas to consider adding in order to attract top talent
  • The client was so happy with the cooperation that he sent us a gift basket along with a note as a thank you for the cooperation so far ;)
